The Walton Historical Society is open to the public Saturday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, and by appointment Monday – Wednesday
There is never an admission charge to view our exhibits. Please feel free to stop in Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or by appointment.
Research and genealogy assistance may be limited during exhibit hours based on any events and/or activities that may have been previously scheduled. Appointments can be made by calling (607) 865-5895.
We have many resources for genealogy and research at your disposal at the Eells House. Included but not limited to are scrapbooks, diaries, ledgers, pictures, Walton Reporters from 1881 to 2011 (paper copies and on CD’s), Walton Journal 1857-1859; Walton Cyclone 1885-1886, Walton Cronicle 1874-1898, Walton Times – 1900, cemetery records and various other records acquired through donations. You can visit us at the Eells House, 9 Townsend Street, Walton, NY or call 607-865-5895. We have a staff that is very willing to help you with your questions and/or research.

The Delaware County Historical Association and the Walton Historical Society had a successful tour of 14 historic homes and buildings in the Village of Walton last September.
